I had heard about The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery many times, but for some reason I found the title quite unattractive. Now that I’ve read the novel, I adore the name like I adore pretty much every thing about the story. It really touched me emotionally, is full of insight and subtle beauty. Every page seemed to bring up new ways to look at the world around us, to understand it a little better.
