Angela Davis is a treasure. This book was first published in 1984 so some of the material feels dated. In fact, it is hard to believe we had more hope for a move away from capitalism in 1984 than we do 40 disastrous years later. I particularly enjoyed the last section of the book about art and liberation. It is not something that I have read much about before.
