3.5 stars because I love a good ending.

Unraveled- Bella J.

Okay that Alexius was toxic, we kinda knew right?! And in a twisted way, we like it, just like Leandra does, yet in the start of this book, Bella J, is killing his character with his toxicity. His jealousy, and plain out gaslighting her about the fact that he is in his right to trap her in a pregnancy, because he loves her? He mean?! Come on now. she’s smiling to someone and he goes ballistic in his mind. Really thinking: Her smiles are only mine?!

I like Isaia, from the start already. To me he has the right balance between being a bad boy and a soft boy. The venom of Alexius jealousy is insane.

I know that we are getting to know alexius better by each narrative, but it’s also a lot of repetition again, with obsessed thoughts about Leandra. Yeah, yeah, we know now. It also feels that he is blaming the guilt constantly on the fact that he loves her so much. Come on dude, you’re just an overly obsessed, jealous and definitely with some unhealed trauma’s. It feels like that Bella J, really wants to convince us that he really loves her, so we can forgive his behaviour.

But before we are able to forgive him, leandra does of course. Which is fine, it’s how the story should go. I would have loved to see that he would make some more improvements in his behaviour. And yes at some point he does, but he also did very very bad things.

At the end she makes a time jump after a cliffhanger, which annoyed me and also made me read very fast because I wanted to know how it would continue after the cliffhanger. That question was answered in the epilogue- which is an interesting choice of the author.

The story of leandra and Alexius came to an end, but it was expected that the other brothers might have story to tell too.

Nicoli here we go ;)
