The writing was so incredible and rich and transported me. Similar construction to A Fine Balance which I absolutely love - following specific characters whose paths intertwine. I was always hungry to read more and just had to finish it because I was so impatient. The characters were so so fleshed out and I just loved them and was so invested in them. I think that the underlying plots are done so well and it just captures the essence of the messiness and beauty of life. It really was a love letter to the characters and their development and experiences which made it feel very human. Definitely need to reread it sometime and just soak in all the different aspects of it. Although it was a very long book, it was well structured into each part and had so much momentum that it wasn't difficult to maintain concentration or get tired of it. Everything just fits together so well.
