As a true crime fan when I learned this was a thriller from the point of view of the victim I was very excited. However I was disappointed. I never got the plot twist that I usually enjoy in a thriller and even though we got several chapters from the POV of the killer we never got the confrontation scene you know the one where the killer is just proving that he's right and he's putting out all the reasons of why he's doing what he's doing. The author wanted to insert a love story here which she miserably failed in. Are you trying to convince me that a 16 year old girl was kidnapped and all she's thinking about is her 18 year old boyfriend?? This was very annoying like all she's thinking about is I miss Lewis I wanna see Lewis I wonder how he is without me blah blah blah. I wanted to give the book 2 stars but you know it wasn't the worst and I was kinda invested in the story.
