The Real Deal by Caitlin Devlin
4.0
Pretty compelling
Well-written exploration of childhood abuse, trauma, and the ambiguities we feel in the face of a world that wants villainy and victimhood neatly packaged for TV. The unfolding of the story between present and past kept me consistently engaged and curious. Glad I read this one.
Also, did anyone else picture Hannah Waddingham as Donna and Anthony Head as Rupert while reading?
