Such a change of pace from my normal choices and I loved it!
With all the hype around the new season being released, I figured I’d give the audiobooks a try- the first on didn’t disappoint. Daphne and Simon’s love story was heartwarming and lighthearted. I found myself completely immersed in a world of regency. The narration was perfect keeping me highly engaged throughout the entire book. There’s a lot of similarities to the tv adaptation but you also get a little more depth in the story I think.
Just a dash of spice which was plenty, it wasn’t overdone which I like. I’m looking forward to continuing with this realm.
