Another glorious entry in this timeless epic that has so quickly managed to become an all-time favorite of mine!

I don't know what it is about Sanderson's writing, but it just works for me. Whether it's big moments or small, action sequences or slower parts ... he keeps astounding me with his brilliant storytelling and depth of imagination. The way he builds characters and connections (sometimes in the most unexpected ways), and makes them feel palpable and real is what keeps me glued to the pages - as well as the awesome world & magic system ofc. ^^ Sanderson manages to make his books feel epic and intimate at the same time, and I'm just thrilled to be along for the ride ... heart-wrenching as that can be sometimes. But that's part of the journey!

The ending with its implications has me on pins and needles, so I am (ooooooh so) glad I won't have to wait too long to find out how the story continues!!
