Eileen by Ottessa Moshfegh

“Idealism without consequences is the pathetic dream of every spoiled brat, I suppose.”

A weirdly fascinating book. Although good and intriguing, I won't deny that Eileen felt dragging and kind of put me in a slump in the middle while reading it. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed reading repulsive and unlikeable characters written by Ottessa Moshfegh.
