Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn
5.0
I loved this book since I am a woman of a certain age! "Killers of a Certain Age" by Deanna Raybourn is a rip-roaring ride that had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. This action-packed thriller follows the story of four deadly assassins, Billie, Mary Alice, Helen, and Natalie, who have spent their lives working for an elite network called the Museum.
After being sent on an all-expenses-paid vacation to celebrate their retirement, the four friends soon realize that they've been marked for death by one of their own. Forced to turn against their organization and rely on their own experience and each other, they show the Board what it means to be a woman and a killer of a certain age.
This book is a refreshing take on the action thriller genre, as it features older women who refuse to be invisible and are willing to fight until the end. The characters are well-developed and likeable, and their interactions with each other add depth to the story. The plot is full of twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end.
Overall, I highly recommend "Killers of a Certain Age" to anyone who loves a good action thriller. It's a fantastic read that will have you rooting for the "girls" from start to finish.
