I can't tell exactly what it is that had me reading this book with sheer excitement. I think maybe it's the complexity, the setting, the almost-fairytale-but-not feeling it gives off. Either way, I loved this book even if it, like the last book, took a long time to build up. I can appreciate a good story like that and it's definitely a book I'll re-read.
