Sally White is the senior constable and only police officer in a small town in the Victoria highlands. It is the 10-year anniversary of the murder of five hikers and the suicide of the suspected killer. But Sally has gotten to know Lex, the brother of the suspected killer and she can’t help but question if the police really got it right all those years ago. By the end of the book, when the real action starts you will start putting a lot of the pieces together like Sally has and you will be even more scared, and surprised about what is about to happen. The description of the Australian high country and the lovely accent of the narrator made you feel like you were right there when you were listening.
