I'm a fan of Leigh's holiday romances. They are usually quite vibe-y and a little less filled with forced holiday cheer, and this one was no exception. There is something dream-like about the writing, so that you don't always feel like you catch everything, but you get the idea and it's still very enjoyable.

I could tell that this was tied in to Leigh's motorcycle club series, which I haven't tried yet, but it didn't feel like I was missing a ton of in-jokes and character development that happened somewhere else; this stood on its own, but intrigued me to try the MC books (though that type of story is not my usual thing.)

I've never been disappointed by these holiday stories from this author, they're always so filled with emotions and hope, which we need right now.
