I fell in love w the characters in the book holy crap. The found family had me crying haha I love it sm. I look forward to eventually reading the rest of the books in this series bc this was great.
This book had more explicit conflict in terms of narrative structure and I think that made it more compelling than the first one.
This book however also felt weirdly paced??? The pacing was solid, if maybe a tad slow in the beginning, but then the second half felt quite rushed and like we were missing a bunch of scenes. Which is odd bc this book is quite long haha.
Overall I had fun n loved the characters :))
