Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey

3.0

This book revolves around a failing marriage, but it somehow maintained a lighthearted and fun atmosphere throughout their struggles. It was an enjoyable, spicy rom-com full of heart and loveable characters.

One thing in particular that I enjoyed about this novel was the incorporation of love languages. It’s something I don’t see a lot in romance novels, and learning to communicate your love in the most meaningful ways for your specific partner can make a world of difference in relationships. While I’m not sure the therapy representation was accurate in this book, I did enjoy that aspect of their therapy sessions.

Being my second Tessa Bailey book, I’m starting to get a feel for her writing, and here’s what I’ve noticed. I really adore the characters in this series, and I can’t help caring about their feelings and what happens to them. The plots are intriguing and keep me interested.

That being said, I don’t think these books have the best writing in the world. The descriptions throughout this series have been extremely literal, and sometimes situations are over explained.

Still, the characters and entertaining plots keep me reading nonetheless, and I still plan to read more of Tessa Bailey’s books after this.
