The Summer of Broken Rules by K.L. Walther
1.0
it's not even that the book was bad, i just found the story bland and useless from the very beginning. The romance came out of NOWHERE and i felt zero chemistry between them. Then, after 100 pages in, when it finally could've been fun, Meredith made it so dramatic and annoying, for someone who absolutely loves games i was so thrilled to read this book because games and romance altogether? yeah uh! but they both made such a big deal out of "betraying" each other in order to win like it's just a game for god's sake. Oh, and the title is a JOKE: the summer vibes were honestly not giving at all + no rules were broken. the descriptions were boring and the chapters were way too long to say so little on the actual story. Anyways, writing this review makes me realise i don't agree anymore with what i said at the start of it, this book is indeed very bad.
