I read these when they came out as issues, but I just finished a re-read. This book is a great soul-searching journey for Captain Kate. It's a perfect cast of characters around her given her history, especially with Storm and Iceman (not to mention Emma). I especially love Pyro, he makes me laugh a lot. Really nice to see a longtime baddie be able to have the opportunity to be on this team. The writing and art really highlight amazing uses of Kate's mutant abilities both in and out of combat.

Probably going to have to start reading volume 2 right now.
