I live vampires, but I hate centuries-old vampires who seem immature and/or clueless to anything modern. Unless they've slept through modern times, there's just no reason for it. This book also had another pet peeve of mine: bad choreography. Ex, Amelia is facing Reggie but notices him looking at her ass. How?! That sort of thing happens multiple times and kicked me out of the story each time. I loved the plot. Reggie is a great character for the most part. Amelia is a doormat for her family though. I'm sick of characters who let their family ignore their basic needs, like a specific diet. Then there's the ending. It's plausible I guess but the scenes with the bad vampire were not well written. Bad choreography, bad dialogue, bad plot line. Overall, the wrap-up could've been better. Great epilogue though.
