Just Lin does it again with an amazing YA fantasy/horror. I love the Taiwanese folklore and language used in this! The audio narration was perfect and made the story so much more immersive.
I love when books have a musical element and couldn’t get enough of Ruby’s musical descriptions. I liked how pieces were used during section headers too to really set the tone, a great addition.
The last ~20% of this book goes FAST and is a little gruesome in case you’re squeamish. I loved the ending! I’m not sure if this is a standalone or going to be continued, but I can see it going either way.
