A fun and super imaginative retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It had steam punk vibes, magic and demons and science mixed through amazing world building that left me glued to the book. I read it in a single day, holding my breath as the story unfolded. I adored the characters, they were so perfect for each other. There were many deeply emotional moments too, with the topic of overcoming/learning to live with the loss of a loved one being covered. Another great book by Prater!
