Mud Puddle Hunting Day by Callie Grant and Illustrated by Melanie Magee is a charming book with child friendly watercolor pictures. Mud Puddle Hunting Day grabbed my four year olds attention. The story talks about playing outside in mud puddles, and celebrates childhood. I love how this story does not involve any type of TV character or commercialized toy which there are an overabundance of in the world. It is just a sweet story that delights children and adults alike. I highly recommend Mud Puddle Hunting Day!
