I think if I had read this book in my 30's I would have been more impressed. It's a kind of 101 introduction to esoteric spirituality. If you have never really delved into it this is a good place to start and if you are ready familiar it is a good refresher. I particularly liked his handling of a sacred union or spiritual partnership.

are partners on a journey of spiritual growth.

Their intuition guides them. They consult with each other.
They are friends. They laugh a lot. They are equals.

That is what a spiritual partnership is:
a partnership between equals
