I saw this book suggested on a couple social media platforms and thought I would give it a read. Some of it, if not all of the plot, was predictable. Couldn’t relate fully to the characters, but it was an okay, quick read. tropes include: force proximity, enemies to lovers, HEA. Once I finished it, I did find it cute for a supposed holiday romance. However, the epilogue was not needed, and it turned me off to the rest of the story entirely. The MMC felt like a totally different persona all together, and both characters started to fall into a more submissive/Dom roles. It’s as if this book needed more character development and backstory in order to make the epilogue more believable. As that was lacking, the epilogue felt rushed and forced, nearly unconvincing.
