Voyage of the Damned by Frances White
4.0
I am going to echo the sentiments that have already been shared that this would have fit YA a bit more for me based on the writing style and character develop. I liked it, but it did take some time to find my footing. The mixture of too many characters while also world building kind of tug-o-warred with each other for attention, but after about a third of the way through I found myself immersed in the journey. I thought the closed door mystery was well done and I did enjoy the character growth of Ganymedes from start to finish.
What stuck out to me the most was the parallels I saw between this Voyage and the state of the US people. I kept thinking about how relatable and applicable a lot of the tactics were to real life and it hit a little hard.
Overall an enjoyable read that I'd recommend.
