Secret societies, the mafia, family secrets, betrayals, suspense, and plenty of jaw-dropping sexy moments—this book was absolutely fabulous. Zara and Sean have known each other since childhood, but their relationship has always stayed strictly platonic… until circumstances force them to marry. Or, well, choose to marry. 😏
I haven't read a secret society book in a while, but this one has quickly shot to the top of my list. Plus, it’s set in my favorite city in the U.S.—Chicago—so we’ve got a winner. Personally, I love the idea of secret societies existing, and this book creates a world that feels so real, it almost makes me believe it could be true.
This is easily a 4 out of 5 on the spice chart and make sure you check your trigger warnings
