This book made me really sit back and think about how someone can truly be the “norm” one day and go through something traumatic and heartbreaking the next. That they must give themselves grace along with those around them. To see how much growth Yasmen went through after their heartbreaking situation, to see Josiah opening himself to get help and heal as well was just beautiful. Along with their children working through their issues and expressing themselves was just wonderful.

Also, their community of people, friends and family is just everything. This book was perfect 10/10 ✨
