A Curse for True Love by Stephanie Garber
5.0
the audiobook >> physical book, since it makes apollo's chapters easier to go through (thank you dan!)
-----------------------
rebecca soler, you own my heart. you can have everything of mine <3
dan bittner, you'll always be adrien everheart to me, but i love you nonetheless
this book was way better as an audiobook btw. maybe because of the audiobook narrator, but definitely also because the apollo chapters went by faster
great ending to a great series, and even though stephanie garber has hinted to more with these two, i am satisfied :)
-----------------------
worst one of this trilogy, but i still loved it. i think this one was just less romantic and more boring than the others.
this book was a blend of multiple POVs, consisting of Evangeline, Apollo, and Jacks with mostly Evangeline chapters and less of Jacks chapters. I think this book would've been more dreamy with more of Jacks perspective, especially since the first two books had him be around all the time and we never got anything from his perspective.
also, do i think the stuff about Jacks' True Love was retconned? yea, but i think it was done okay.
i really loved the idea of the story curse, and that epilogue was great.
