really enjoyed this one. sad girl book but instead of romance/sex, it’s family and sisterhood. I loved the obsession with religion, politics, the internet, and conservatism. The dynamic between poppy, jules, and their mother is so quintessentially toxic and familiar — they want to become her so badly and also want nothing more than to avoid all she is, etc. Dead end jobs, mental health shit, feeling lost in life. All in all, a good read. Good character development (especially Jules’ self realizations). I would def recommend ! (Very similar to my other sad women books, but that’s not a bad thing).
Moderate: Suicide attempt
