As much as I love anything Monica McCallan, this one just didn’t hit the same for me as some of her others. I didn’t feel as connected to the characters and had trouble following the story. I loved the banter and playfulness between the characters and of course the spicy was spicy but, sadly, that’s all I really got from this book.
