So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo

challenging informative reflective medium-paced

5.0

“If you live in this system of white supremacy, you are either fighting the system of you are complicit. There is no neutrality to be had towards systems of injustice, it is not something you can just opt out of.”

This book is a must read. It brings uncomfortable topics and ideas that must be discussed to the forefront and challenges people to no longer be silent about racism and oppression. This book encourages white people to listen to minorities and people of color about their experiences and work together to tear down the system that was built to keep them down.
