All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker
5.0
Incredible. Finishing this has left me feeling like I just finished A Prayer for Owen Meany for the first time, which became my favorite book of all time 25 years ago (and is still at the top of my top ten).
I was hesitant to read it as I’m not a big mystery reader, but although this book is a mystery, it’s REALLY about the characters, the relationships, and the intricate threads and stories that stitch them together through decades. Patch, Saint, and Sammy will be hard to forget. Literary mystery.
Just incredible.
