you can tell the author is a poet by the way she writes, but that's not a bad thing. disconcerting, maybe, in a book i thought was going to be a little more about science. however, i think it's just as nice to not try to explain everything around us, but to simply marvel at the beauty. all the anecdotal stories pulled me in, and i saw my experiences reflected in many of them, so that made me really emotional. a very wonderful read indeed!
