"The Anatomy of Story: 22 Steps to Becoming a Master Storyteller" by John Truby is a very useful - and surprisingly entertaining - guide for all who work not only with screenplays but with any kind of narrative prose at all.
It taught me to better appreciate the movies and the novels I love.
I would like very much to read the author's other books.
