This book is amazing. I loved the unusual choice of narrator (Death) - it lends a very different tone to the Third Reich.

Zusak's writing is exquisite. "He does something to me, that boy. Every time. It's his only detriment. He steps on my heart. He makes me cry."

Everyone needs to read this damn book.
