When Worlds Collide by Erin Zak

5.0

When Worlds Collide is cleverly built and well written romance between two middle aged women. I enjoyed the split of the story into three act. It was original idea for a book.

The overall storyline was also original and refreshingly new. Sort of second chance and forbidden love combined with something extra. I liked that there was no (regular for romance) awkward and mandatory drama. The conflict was built in the synopsis. The forced breakup was already known based on blurb but the reason is not very believable for me - but I let it slide and take it as it's given in the book because the book was so well written otherwise.

I liked both main characters and the side characters supported the story. For once, exes weren’t pure evil although one did stir up some drama. The romance was hot, innocent, full of emotion, and heart-aching.

I give Heather and Grace’s story 4.5 stars. I would like to hear the story narrated by Angela Dawe. She would be amazing.
