As with all of Hydrus’s books, the photography gives the book such a cool aesthetic! He really knows how to pick the right angles and objects to enhance the poems!

The storyline for this one was so smooth - so sweet and sexy and hopeful! But it wouldn’t be a Hydrus book without that harsh dose of reality. That ending though! I’M SCREAMING!

His poetry style is fluid with nice imagery, word choice (which I feel like I talk about every time lol), and this book especially gets into the characters’ thoughts and motives so well! I feel like it was over before I realized I had read the whole thing because I was INVESTED!

Hydrus’s books are meant to be read in paperback because, man, are they works of art with those full-page pictures!
