This book was actually phenomenal. I am a surface level reader (and proud of it -- I am here to escape, not to pick everything apart) and this was a perfect little getaway. The nods to How The Grinch Stole Christmas were super cute. The banter was fun and witty. The spice was spicin'. I really really enjoyed this one and I actually would probably re-read this one, to be honest. That's five stars. I am so thankful because after DNFing the Locker Room, I was really worried. Thankfully, that wasn't because of her writing (just her lack of sports in a sportsball book). Excellent!
