Invisible Girl by Lisa Jewell
5.0
Wow, what an amazing novel! I was completely hooked the moment I picked it up. I could not put it down without finishing it. Even now, as I’m writing this review, I know I should be in bed, sleeping. There were plenty of disturbing twists and turns to hold my attention. I just kept creating theories in my head and I wanted to know more! Lisa Jewell has written yet another amazing thriller. Every character was suspicious to me, and made me feel strong dislike or a strong love for them. I highly recommend reading this book, even if you aren’t a fan of suspense or thriller novels.
Invisible Girl skips between three characters’ point of views. Owen is a man in his thirties whose life is falling apart due to a series of unfortunate circumstances. The Fours are a family that live just across the street from Owen, including a teenage boy and girl. The other story line follows Saffyre who is growing up while trying to deal with her past. All these characters’ stories intertwine when a girl goes missing. This story will have you constantly questioning each character’s moves every step of the way. Can you solve the mystery before the end of the book? I didn’t!
