Ngl, Violet annoyed me so much during this book… but it was pretty good. The book felt stagnant at times and there was not a lot of build up. Xaden is still 🔥😍. Wtf was that ending!!! Can’t wait for the next book 😭

Update: 1/6/25 had to get ready for Onyx Storm this month. This is crazyyyyyyyyy. With a reread — Xaden’s second signet is so obvious now that you know what to look for. I also am soooo curious about Violet’s…. First read of this I found her so annoying. Second read, I have more empathy for her thinking more about just how much her world was flipped upside down and how young she is for all of this to be happening. I’m pumped for the third book. Wishing I took the day off to read now!!! Also, I forgot (ashamed of this) how much Xaden is 🔥🥵
