French Fancy by Lily Morton

I've been waiting for Pip's story for... I have no idea how long. I simply love him. Every month I wait for Lily Morton's newsletter to read "Model Clinic", Malachai's podcast with Dean and Pip and omg they are so comical and unique... So yes, it was Pip's turn to have his HEA.

So, in his story, we have a convalescent Pip, who is sent by his boss, Jonas, to recover in the villa he has, with his brother, Olivier, in the south of France. And if you think for a moment that just because Pip was sick he was going to lose his sass, or his carefree attitude, or the snarky charm he carries with him everywhere, the answer is no. Pip is Pip in all his glory, to the point that he manages to charm the most confirmed bachelor of all, Olivier.

Surrounded by luxuries, debauchery, beautiful places and some friends who like to interfere, and even managing to beat a mother who apparently forgot that she was one, or an ex who only wants to cause problems, the relationship between them is born, grows, and although it is not without some jumps along the way (as I already mentioned), it ends up being so strong that nothing can separate them.

The only thing I didn't like was how they handled the situation with the mother and the ex. The resolution was quick, and although I am in favor of second chances, I think she did too much damage for too long for everything to be forgotten and forgiven so quickly.

Anyway, another fun and romantic story from this author, full of steamy moments, some romantic gestures, and the typical banter of this group of characters.

I was given an advanced copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
