May 1933- A freak snowstorm hits Seattle and a little boy goes missing.
May 2010- A freak snowstorm hits Seattle and Claire is given the assignment at her newspaper to do a story about it. She stumbles upon the story of the missing boy, and for her own reasons is immediately sucked into it and wants to find out what happened to that little boy.

The book moves from past to present, giving us a full story of the mother of the missing boy, and Claire's search for the truth about him.

I really enjoyed the story, but would have liked more back story on Claire and her husband. How did they meet? etc. There are a lot of coincidences in the book, some believable and some not so much, but this is fiction, right?

All in all, I would recommend this book to my friends and my family because it is a good read. The mystery of the little boy keeps you turning pages and the emotions of the mother of the little boy and of Claire are keenly felt.
