Virgin Skin by K.M. Neuhold

This book was so dang adorable. I really, really loved the way Milo was written. I think this is the first book I've ever read that had a character with ADHD didn't just stop with the frustration of not being able to focus and having memory issues. We got to see the nervous leg bounces, the way being in school was such a struggle it just wasn't worth it, the hopping around between all kinds of different jobs and wondering why nothing ever feels right. Milo was one of the most relatable characters I've ever read. And what a perfect partner for him Piston was. He was not only patient with Milo's quirks but also charmed by them, and he didn't ever make Milo feel like he was too much to be around. I liked that their physical relationship progressed slowly, and I didn't find the "we can't be together because I feel too guilty about it" trope to be too excruciating. This book was very low drama, very light on angst, and I enjoyed it a lot!
