First: The cover. The original cover is gorgeous. The new cover is not. I am a fan of cartoon covers in general, I just do not like the new cartoon cover of this book. All I'm saying is do not replace BOOK HAND PORN! Yeah, yeah, they wanted it to match. I know. Still. The original covers for the series are much better than the cartoon versions in this particular instance, in my opinion.

I *loved* this book. I had been in a bit of a reading slump, honestly. Not because I'm uninterested, just my brain has been so scattered I haven't been able to focus. The synapsis here sucked me right in. A book store owner and a tattoo artist? SIGN ME UP! And boy was I not disappointed. This book is awesome. I read the whole series in one weekend. *grabby hands* I want moooooore.

Emmie and Ox are such a perfect couple. They compliment each other perfectly. I do appreciate a hard ass with a book worm. I believe it is my favorite trope. The angst! The story kept me riveted. I could not put it down. The side characters are SO good. This book has amazing series potential.

The story is excellent. I love the characters. I love the plot. I love the scenery. It is just... *sigh* perfectly splendid. I cannot recommend this series enough. I will now happily delve into of Elizabeth Hunter's back cannon.
