The Other Side of the Sky by Amie Kaufman, Meagan Spooner
4.0
This book. It kind of had a slow start and it was hard to really get into, but when I did, I could not put it down. This book was my perfect combination of sci-fi and fantasy. The romance is also *chef’s kiss* I just love it. It's somehow frustrating in a good way. Some of the “plot twists” were predictable and I have made a few predictions for the next book I am fairly sure will happen but that just makes me more excited to read it. This book still managed to surprise me in certain instances though, so I was never sure I was right. This added to the excitement.
Somehow, with the detachment that came with the world that I would never really be able to understand, the relationships and world-building were so realistic.
This book was amazing and the only reason I didn't give it 5 give stars is because of the slow start.
