An unfaithful wife loses her husband to an international stabbing, then coincidentally inherits a house full of taxidermy. She proceeds to have weird adventures with her handicapped daughter, her save-the-environment boss, a married lawyer, and a posse of senile old ladies. This book's introverted super-weirdness is unique and charming.
