Interlude: First Noel by Tal Bauer

5.0

Having a boyfriend who is also the President of the United States has to suck, but it's even worse when it's a long distance relationship. Jack is stuck in Washington, and Ethan has been transferred to Iowa. Ethan is racking up those frequent flyer miles, flying to Washington every Friday night and flying back to Iowa every Sunday night.

Jack continues to struggle with the pressures of his office, when he just wants to be a man in love.
He wasn’t trying to change the world. He just wanted to love Ethan, and no one seemed to accept that. Everyone wanted something from him, some kind of statement or stance or public commitment. Something that tried to politicize his personal life, and his love.
Even though this is a novella, it's jampacked with romance, a little angst, and suspense. While it's not necessary to read this book in between one and two, it's highly recommended because it's really good!
