i found it lowkey annoying and was worried about what the 3rd act conflict would bring so read some reviews which confirmed my fears

also i really didn’t gel with the writing. it’s 1st person POV but it’s written as if the MCs are telling us what’s happening vs inner monologue and i just don’t like that at all - show don’t tell is my preference
