A bleak and chilling warning for the future interlaced with the personal tragedies of three individuals connected through the annals of time. I found this tale somewhat predictable in its twists and turns, though the endings for each of the three protagonists was something of a gut punch. While it has a strong beginning and end, The History of Bees somewhat loses its way in the middle.
