A Sense of the Mysterious: Science and the Human Spirit by Alan Lightman
3.0
It started and finished as a love letter to science and research, specifically exalting its beauty and elegance in its emergent complexity. Towards the middle, however, it got diluted while providing abridged biographies of Einstein and a few other scientists. It came across as tonally different from the introspective nature of the rest of the book.
