Love and History by Lane Hayes

What a wonderful ending to this series! I loved each of the books, but I have to say that this last one got all the applause.

But it highlights how two totally opposite beings can find common ground and build something totally amazing.

Ezra is a lovable, laid-back "straight" jock. And a dedicated law student, about to take the bar exam. He has so many layers that it seems like we never get to know him completely. Something he uses to hide the depth of his feelings, since like everyone else, he carries a painful burden inside.

And Holden, omg Holden! I've loved him since the beginning of the series. So unique and different, so smart, so comfortable in his own skin. In a way, I envy and admire him at the same time. But for all his self-assurance, he also has his own burdens to overcome.

And together, they complement each other perfectly well.

One thing I enjoyed in this book was the different cameos from the whole group. So good to see all of them living their well earned and happy lives!

And something that I love about [a:Lane Hayes|7125719|Lane Hayes|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1601401159p2/7125719.jpg] is how she somehow intersects all of her series. They all have something that connects them somewhere. And I can't help but mention a certain last name that resonated around at the end. Mendez-Sullivan... ring a bell?

I was given an advanced copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
